Gas pipelines, like any pipeline, need to be cleaned before they can be used. This cleaning is to remove any contaminants that may have been left in the line during fabrication and assembly. Contaminants can also include rust or scale build up on the internal surfaces of the pipe.

Gas pipeline ferrets or polyshots can be made from different density’s of foam or from polyurethane compounds, depending upon the requirements of the project.
